The synthetic dipeptide Acetyl Dipeptide-1 Cetyl Ester stimulates the release of met-enkephalin, an opioid neurotransmitter with analgesic activity, by nerve cells. Clinical studies have shown that when a peptide is applied to the skin, sensitivity to irritating environmental factors (thermal, mechanical and chemical influences) is dulled. It also attenuates the transmission of signals from the nerve endings to the muscle, promoting relaxation of the muscle fibers.

Gluconolactone, by lowering the pH of the acidic mantle of the skin, improves the barrier properties of the stratum corneum, which provides optimal protection and hydration. Gluconolactone helps to restore the integrity of the skin barrier, it gently lowers the pH of the acid mantle, thus reducing the activity of serine proteases, the destroyers of protein components of corneodesmosomes. Gluconolactone initiates the expression of a variety of cytokines, chemokines and growth factors, which in turn stimulate the proliferation of keratinocytes and their production of hyaluronic acid. In addition, cytokines are able to cross basement membrane and optimize the production of hyaluronic acid, collagen and  matrix metalloproteinases by fibroblasts.

Application:
Open the package, take out the mask, unfold it. Apply to the face after the procedure, gently smooth. Remove the mask after 15-25 minutes. Let the remaining lotion on your face absorb.
